Building systems that scale

I started as a freelance web developer shipping client projects across React and Node, then moved into full-stack engineering building NFT marketplaces, Django reporting engines, and Docker-based CI/CD pipelines. Today I lead engineering teams across fintech, Web3, AI, and enterprise SaaS - architecting microservices on AWS, driving monorepo migrations, and building streaming SDKs and data pipelines. As founding engineer and later CTO at Blockhouse, I scaled the org from zero to 40+ engineers across full-stack, DevOps, MLOps, and quant research.

Notable technical work

Architecture decisions and systems that moved the needle.

Lambda@Edge intercepts CloudFront requests: bots receive pre-rendered HTML from S3, users get the React app. Each page auto-generates static HTML on publish - no ongoing SSR infrastructure.

Built the engineering org across full-stack, DevOps, MLOps, and quant research. Implemented Linear + GitHub + Slack-integrated ops for delivery at scale.

Unified CI/CD, shared packages, and deployment pipelines. Migration completed in 2 weeks with no broken production deployments.

Private keys never leave the secure environment. KMS handles rotation. Flow: Chrome extension → Nest.js → Flask → TEE.

FIX protocol market data ingestion from brokers/exchanges into S3 data lake. Backtesting with alpha signal generation. Spark on SageMaker, AWS Glue ETL.
